Description

Molded from the bottom half of a bottle and using a variety of stencils; city scape and Ivy leaf "Suffocation and Conservation" is centered around increased pollution while protecting what natural environment remains as a justification to continue the poisoning of the world. 

I wanted to retain a lot of the glaze so I left the insides untouched. My choice of not changing the inside can correspond to the symbolism of wanting to preserve the pre-existing.  Leaving the white glaze on the clouds and city silhouette implies a sort of bleached "5 O'Clock World" where everything is the same and the only thing that has significance is routine. Life has become increasingly bland that it has begun to effect the insides as well.
